ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1,350 m)

The tourists are received and greeted by the tour operator’s professional guide on arrival at Kathmandu International airport & transferred to a prearranged cosy hotel. They are welcomed at the hotel with traditional tika and welcome drink. After the check in and settling down the tourists are briefed about the tour programme and allowed to spend the rest of the day on their own acquainting with the place, people, market and others before retiring for a good night sleep.

DAY 2: PILGRIMAGE AND SIGHTSEEING TOUR FULL DAY

The tourists can have early breakfast and prepare to leave for the full day tour to thePashupatinath temple considered as the holy Hindu shrine and the abode of Lord Shiva followed by a visit to Guheswari temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Budhanilkantha temple dedicated to Lord Bishnu in sleeping posture. The tourists then break for lunch at a well- known famous pure vegetarian restaurant.

Tourists proceed to Kumari temple after lunch and pay homage and offerings to the Goddess before driving back to the hotel for a comfortable rest and sleep overnight.

DAY 3: PILGRIMAGE AND SIGHTSEEING TOUR FULL DAY

Tourists leave to enjoy their full day pilgrimage cum sightseeing tour after their sumptuous breakfast in the place of stay with the first stopover at the famous Sri Krishna temple in Patan Durbar Square. This is followed by a visit to Taleju Bhawani Temple in Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Doleswar Mahadev Temple dedicated to head of Kedarnath temple and housing the tallest Lord Shiva statue. The pilgrims get enough time at each place to offer prayers, seek blessings and appreciate the architecture and beauty of individual deity and place. They are escorted and educated about the places by a professional guide. They are then driven back to the place of stay, have dinner and retire for the day.

DAY 4: GUIDED TOUR TO MANAKAMANA AND POKHARA

Tourists after early breakfast prepare to undertake long 5 hours smooth road journey to Pokhara about 220Kms from the hotel, enjoying the scenic beauty of the place on both sides of the road, crossing the rivers and rivulets, valleys, terraced fields, green woods and scintillating view of passing Himalayan ranges at its best. The tourists go to see theManakamana temple en-route by well-maintained cable car before finally reaching Pokhara and checking in a comfortable hotel. Tourists can enjoy walking around Fewa Lake after getting refreshed at the hotel. They will be enthralled at the beauty of the place and of the sunset amongst the Himalayan ranges.

DAY 5: FLIGHT TO JOMSOM AND ROAD JOURNEY TO MUKTIDHAM

Tourists prepare for an early morning flight to Jomsom and are transferred in time to airport to avail the pre-arranged flight which takes 25 minutes to reach Jomsom. Tourists will enjoy the scenic beauty of the place during the flight which will certainly be etched in their memory for long. The Hotel/ Resortislocated close by the airport, tourists love to walk that distance. Tourists can get refreshed, take rest and walk down to the jeep stand to carry forward their journey to famous Muktidham temple. One has to climb up 300 steps to reach the entrance towards the main temple. Tourist can take bath at holy 108 numbers waterspouts, offer prayers at Jwala Mai temple & many other temples nearby. They can return to the vehicle stand for the journey back to their hotel at Jomsom, have dinner and enjoy a pleasant rest overnight.

DAY 6: SIGHTSEEING POKHARA

Tourists will have a walk in the dawn to the airport for their morning flight to Pokhara. They will check in a prearranged hotel after their arrival and get refreshed before proceeding for sightseeing. The tour will comprise a visit to Seti gorge, Devi’s fall, Bindubasini temple and Mahadev cave. Tourists will also enjoy sightseeing explorations all around the place and scintillating panoramic view all around will leave indelible impressions. Spend some time in the midst of Nature before returning to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 7: DRIVE TO KATHMANDU FROM POKHARA

Tourists will have a pleasant road journey to Kathmandu after their breakfast at Pokhara. They will check in to a hotel after the smooth drive and take rest. Tourists will have the remaining day to do shopping, moving around or resting at the hotel.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE

Tourists are driven to the Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu after breakfast for availing their onward flight to destination. The tourists leave with fond reminiscences of Nepal, its scenic beauty, culture, ethnic diversity, hospitality and warm behaviour of inhabitants.
