DAY 01

Arrive in Kathmandu
|
| The tourists are received and greeted by the tour operator’s professional guide on arrival at Kathmandu International airport & transferred to a prearranged cosy hotel. They are welcomed at the hotel with traditional tika and a welcome drink. After the check-in and settling down the tourists are briefed about the tour programme and allowed to spend the rest of the day on their own acquainting with the place, people, market and others before retiring for a good night’s sleep. |

DAY 02
|
Buddhist Sites Tour Around Kathmandu
|
| You are picked up from the hotel and driven to the tour destination after breakfast. The attraction of the day – Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city- Historical Durbar Square area, Boudhanath Stupa & Swyambhunath Stupa, which is one of the most popular attractions in Kathmandu. Lunch break will be provided during the tour at the best restaurants available. |

DAY 03
|
Drive to Lumbini
|
| After breakfast, we travel 310 kilometres from Kathmandu to Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. We travel through valleys, river beaches, traditional villages, hilly landscapes, and traditional Nepalese homes, among other things. If time allows, we will also visit Dev Daha (the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam’s mother), where Siddhartha Gautam spent the majority of his childhood. We check into the hotel when we arrive in Lumbini. We go on a tour of Lumbini in the evening. Overnight stay in Lumbini. |

DAY 04
|
Full-Day Buddha Purnima Celebration
|
| Buddhist Pilgrims travel from all over the world to Lumbini, Nepal, on this auspicious day to attend the Buddha Purnima celebrations on Buddha’s birthday. Prayer meetings, sermons on Gautam Buddha’s life, religious discourses, continuous recitation of Buddhist scriptures, community meditation, processions, worship of the Buddha statue, and symposia are all part of the day. The Mahabodhi Temple is decked out in festive garb, with bright flags and flowers. On this Holy Day, Buddhists bathe and wear white clothing in particular. They worship in their viharas and offer alms to the monks. Many devote their whole day to the vihara, where they listen to discourses on the Buddha’s life and teachings or invite monks to their homes. Buddhists eat kheer (milk rice) on Buddha Purnima and share it with the sick. They set up stalls in public places to provide safe drinking water to others and to demonstrate compassion for animals. DAY 05
|
Fly to Kathmandu & Visit Chabahil
|
| We travel to Kathmandu as soon as breakfast is over. Beautiful views of panoramic mountains can be seen from the deck. When we arrive in Kathmandu, we check into our hotel. We depart for a Pilgrimage sightseeing tour to Chabahil after recharging our batteries (CharumatiVihar). It was founded by the Indian princess Charumati, daughter of Indian Emperor Ashoka, who was married to a Nepalese prince in Kathmandu, according to inscriptions found inside it. Then we go to Boudhnathstupa, which is one of the world’s largest stupas. The Stupa is located on an ancient trade route from Tibet that enters the Kathmandu Valley via the village of Sankhu in the northeast corner, passes through Boudha Stupa, and continues on to the ancient and smaller Charumati Stupa (often referred to as “Little Boudhanath”) in Chabahil. DAY 06
|
Drive to Namobuddha
|
| After breakfast, we travel 35 kilometres from the capital city to Namobuddha, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites. Namo Buddha has a 6000-year-old history and is now home to more than 250 monks. We go to the stupa and take in the view of the Himalayas and valley. We return to Dhulikhel as soon as we have finished praying and worshipping. After lunch, we visit Changu Narayan Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, two of the valley’s most significant heritage sites. Changu Narayan Temple is perched on a rocky outcropping. Amazing sculptures and antique paintings surround the temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is Nepal’s oldest religious structure. The Durbar Square in Bhaktapur was established in 889 AD. The iconic “Fifty-five windows palace” can be found in Bhaktapur’s old palace square. It was the Malla kings’ royal palace at the time. The golden gate in this square is a one-of-a-kind masterwork of Newari architecture. This old square is like a Hindu temple museum in the open air. The ancient royal bath, the Taleju shrine’s courtyard, the museum of art and culture, the pottery square, the magnificent Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window, and the Dattatreya temple are among the other famous sites. In Bhaktapur, we can sense the mythical air of timelessness. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. |

DAY 07
|
Kapan Monastery
|
| Following breakfast, we travel to Kapan Monastery, which is dominated by a majestic bodhi tree and was once the home of the king of Nepal’s astrologer. Kapan Monastery, a monastery in the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism under the guidance of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, is now located on the same hill. The air is new, and the view of the valley is breathtaking. 360 monks, lamas, students, and staff are housed there. Visitors come from all over the world to attend courses and to experience the spiritual environment of the study and practice centre. We drive to Thamel, one of Kathmandu’s most popular tourist destinations, after exploring the monastery. We stroll through the Thamel market. A farewell dinner with a cultural dance program will be held in the evening at a Nepali restaurant. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. |

DAY 08
|
Final Departure
|
| This is your last day in town. You should go shopping and buy souvenirs for your friends and family. We’ll drop you off at the airport three hours before your flight. The memories you’ve shared with us are extremely valuable. We advise our beloved guests to keep in contact with us because waving hands and farewell hugs aren’t enough.
