ITINERARY

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

DAY 01

Tourists are received and welcomed heartily at the International airport Kathmandu by the trained office representative before arranging to transfer to a cosy hotel with a welcome drink. The package includes hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and a tour guide to assist tourists and appraise them about the details, history, mythological facts, traits, and ethnic varieties of the place. The tourists are briefed about the place and about the intending tour program. Tourists are then allowed to get refreshed, relax and spend time leisurely on their own, doing some shopping, strolling around the place, tasting some cuisines, walking around the areas, and getting acquainted with the place and surroundings.

DAY 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Have a sumptuous breakfast and prepare to enjoy half of the day’s enthralling sightseeing tour to Patan Durbar Square city, located about 7 KM SE of Kathmandu across the river Bagmati. The oldest of the three cities in the Kathmandu Valley, this third century AD city was founded by King VeeraDev and is located atop a little plateau with an habitant of around 125000 people of diverse cultural identities. The city boasts of world-famous Newar crafts and is dotted with numerous elegant Buddhist monuments and fascinating Hindu temples scattered all over the place. The most prominent monument area of all is Patan Durbar Square. Tourists proceed to see Swayambhunath Stupa located atop a hillock with breath-taking views all around. The 2000 years old Buddhist Chaitya is one of the world’s holiest, glorious, enigmatic, and finest chaityas frequented by thousands of tourists across the world year-round. This is also known by the name of Monkey Temple, symbolizing the presence of holy monkeys inhabiting the NW part of the surrounding temple area. Tourists can enjoy the scintillating view of the entire Kathmandu valley and the eastern part of the Himalayan Mountain ranges. DAY 03

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, tourists proceed for another stupendous sightseeing tour of Kathmandu with a stopover at BoudhanathStupa, located about 7 KM NE/EAST of Kathmandu. This Fifth century AD-built Buddhist Stupa is world-famous and one of the grandest Stupas around the globe. The area around the stupa has a large habitat of Tibetan refugees&is better known by the name” little Tibet.” After lunch, the tourists proceed to the world-famous Pashupatinath Temple visited all year round by thousands of devotees and tourists from across the world. The pilgrims pay homage and pray for well-being at this temple which abodes the sacred & iconic symbol of Lord Shiva in a richly ornamented and exquisitely crafted pagoda. The temple is also nicknamed “The Temple of Living Beings” and has large pilgrims from both India and Nepal. After this interesting tour of Kathmandu, the tourists are driven back to the hotel for some rest and comfort. They are free for the balance daytime to utilize for personal activities, to walk around the place in order to acquaint with the people and surroundings, shopping local products, and visit some tourist hubs like Thamel. They may try some local cuisine and delicacies which are very palatable. DAY 04

Departure from Kathmandu

Tourists enjoy breakfast at the hotel leisurely and spend time at ease till check-out.
