DAY 01

Arrival in the City of Arts & Architecture – Kathmandu

Our journey starts in Kathmandu, a city of incredible architecture dating back to the 16th century. At the Tribhuwan International Airport, a member of our team will greet you and take you to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with your hotel check-in. You will be greeted, supported, and provided with a lovely hotel suite. The first day of your arrival is a plentiful of leisure time. In the evening, stroll through nearby tourist hotspots such as Thamel and Basantapur Durbar Square. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

DAY 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today is a big day for you because you can finally begin your cultural exploration! We have a lot of sightseeing scheduled for you, beginning with Kathmandu, Nepal’s nerve centre. In every nook and cranny, it flaunts its rich history and vibrant culture. The Durbar Square in Kathmandu is full of ancient palaces with magnificent art and architecture, while Pashupatinath Temple is one of the Hindu’s holiest sites. We then proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, the world’s largest stupa, followed by Swayambhunath Temple. Because of the large monkey population in the region, Swayambhunath, which means “the self-existent,” is popular among foreign tourists. It’s no surprise that it’s also known as “Monkey Temple.” Make a point of keeping an eye out for these famed beasts. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

DAY 03

Tour of Patan and Kirtipur

Following breakfast, we travel to Patan, the City of Fine Arts, to learn more about it. We walk past the whitewashed gate into Patan Durbar Square, which is lined with cafes, grocery stores, and big iron bells. Beyond the alleys, the city’s medieval neighbourhoods can be found. Temples and stupas abound, in a number of forms, sizes, and ages. After a tour of an art and craft city, we will undoubtedly return to see more of the medieval art and architecture that flourished during the Malla reign. We travel to Kirtipur, a small Newari town on a hill southwest of Kathmandu that is off the beaten path. Here we will learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Kirtipur Newari as well as the city’s rich cultural heritage. We will return to Kathmandu by car. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

DAY 04

Drive to Nuwakot

After breakfast, we drive to Nuwakot, another hilltop town that is becoming increasingly popular as a tourist destination. We can stay in a group lodge and experience life as a local. In Nuwakot, we can visit the durbar (palace), a seven-story fort from which King Prithivi Narayan Shah conquered Kathmandu. We can also get a stunning view of the valley below as well as the majestic mountains from here. We take a tour of the area and mingle with the friendly locals, who welcome us with open arms. Overnight stay in Nuwakot.

DAY 05

Drive  to Gorkha

Following breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Gorkha, which provides views of rivers, terrace fields, and the surrounding countryside. When we arrive in Gorkha, we can go sightseeing and see the famous Gorkha Palace (Durbar), which was designed in the Newari style. There are other places worth visiting, such as Old Gorkha Bazar, which houses many historic monuments such as RatnaMandir, Bhimsen Temple, and Tallo Durbar, which was built in 1835. Overnight stay in Gorkha.

DAY 06

Drive to Bandipur

We depart after breakfast and travel to Bandipur via Dumre, passing through the Trisuli River. Bandipur is a picturesque town nestled in Nepal’s Himalayan foothills, a country known for both its natural beauty and its people’s hospitality. Bandipur entices visitors with its cultural charm and natural beauty. This Newari town has kept its old-world charm and offers visitors a heady mix of heritage, architecture, breathtaking views, amazing caves, and unspoiled landscapes. A visit to the town is worthwhile because it provides an opportunity to learn more about Newari culture. Overnight stay in Bandipur.

DAY 07

Bandipur Tour

We have a free day to explore Bandipur more thoroughly. The surrounding hills are perfect for hiking, with trails taking us through tribal villages, lush forests, ‘power places,’ and hilltop shrines that once served as fortresses. We may feel as if we’re stepping back in time as we explore the region; despite the fact that growth is increasing, the atmosphere of the area has been beautifully preserved. For over 30 years, there was literally no road connecting Bandipur to the main infrastructure, leaving it practically untouched by touristic influence as tourism in Nepal grew along the main roads and airports. The village is situated on a high ridge above Dumre, 700 meters above the Marsyangdi River Valley, with a spectacular view of the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Bandipur.

DAY 08

Drive from Bandipur to Pokhara

Following breakfast, our journey to Pokhara begins with a scenic drive across rivers, terrace fields, and a stunning view of the Annapurna range as you approach the city-scenic lake city. Devi’s Waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Village, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum, and Bindabasini are among the many other interesting attractions. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

DAY 09

Pokhara Sightseeing

We take a quick drive to Sarangkot before the sun rises to see the most beautiful sunrise. The choice of paragliding is available on request in Sarangkot. Nothing beats a well-deserved breakfast at the hotel to start the day. Pokhara, the City of Lakes, is a natural beauty. The city is dotted with tranquil lakes, and we’re confident that the view of Phewa Lake against the serene backdrop of Fishtail Mountain will inspire the photographer in us.

Throughout the day, we will be amused by a number of exciting events. Boating, bird watching, kayaking, diving, and canoeing are all enjoyable activities. We can also go for a walk and meet the locals, who are warm and welcoming. Jump in one of the colourful boats and swim up to the Varahi temple in the middle of the lake to seek blessings.

Davis Falls, also known as “PataleChanggo” in Nepali, is an underground waterfall. The water flows underneath the ground into a 500-foot natural tunnel formed by water currents beneath the surface. More Facebook videos!

The MahendraPul stands atop the SetiGandaki Gorge (Pul: Bridge). The river flows right through the city, and in some places, it is totally underground. Bindyabasini Temple, dedicated to goddess Durga, the supreme force deity, is located in the heart of the bazaar. We are sure to be enthralled by the architecture of the sixteenth century. Nichidatsu Fujii, a Japanese Buddhist monk, laid the foundation for the World Peace Pagoda, also known as the “Shanti Stupa,” which sits atop a hill. As the view of the Annapurna range in the background takes our breath away, we can look into our inner selves and find calm. It’s a nice way to finish the day with some hearty Nepalese cuisine. The Thakali meal, cooked with love by local ethnic mothers, is highly recommended. Pokhara has a lot more to offer; simply walk down to the lakeside area in the evening. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

DAY 10

Drive  to Chitwan

We prepare to awaken the explorer inside us! As we say our goodbyes to Pokhara after a 180-kilometre journey, we’re ready for some extreme wildlife adventure in Chitwan. Chitwan, situated in the humid plains of Nepal, is one of Asia’s best wildlife-viewing destinations. The biodiversity in these subtropical plains is worthy of The Jungle Book. Both of them can be found in Chitwan National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once we’ve settled in, we’ll go deep into the forest to get closer to the wild, scouring the jungles for rhinos and tigers while riding on the backs of lumbering elephants. While on one of these elephant journeys, we could just catch a glimpse of the iconic one-horned rhino or the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

DAY  11

Jungle Safari in Chitwan

There’s plenty to keep us occupied here, from swimming with the elephants to visiting local Tharu villages, and the brave can even go on a guided walk through the jungle, surrounded by the forest’s hoots and roars. Safari visitors come from all over the world to search the treetops for rare bird species and scour the jungles for rhinos and tigers. The best way to see aquatic birds, crocodiles, and alligators is to canoe on the Rapti River’s calm waters. A lunch break inside the park will provide a welcome break from our stroll. Visit the gharial breeding project to see both gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles up close before we call it a day. The program has done an excellent job of saving endangered species and reintroducing them to the wild. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

DAY 12

Drive to Kathmandu

The next day, we ride back to Kathmandu through a 200-kilometre drive along a winding highway. We can see the majestic Trishuli River as it flows down from the mountains, hilly landscapes, primitive shops, and villages along the way. A half-hour drive from Kathmandu takes us to Nagarkot, the premier hill station on the Kathmandu Valley rim, where we can take in the fresh mountain air and look out over the rolling hills on the valley’s eastern rim. Relax and unwind with a glass of wine to combat the mountain chill. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.

DAY 13

This is your last day in town. You should go shopping and buy souvenirs for your friends and family. We’ll drop you off at the airport three hours before your flight.
